William F. “Bill” Rennie, 79, of Medford, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on January 31st, 2008. He was born in Cambridge on April 21st, 1928 to his parents William F. and Irene (Pelrine) Rennie. Bill retired from Langley and Company Business Equipment Sales where he worked as a salesman for over 20 years. He was an avid golfer who held membership at the Andover Country Club in Andover, MA and the York Golf and Tennis Club in York, Maine. He is survived by his wife Ruth A. (Blackburn) Rennie; his children William F. Rennie Jr. of Malden; Charles M. Rennie and his wife Nancy of Medford; Donna Rennie of Medford; Kevin Rennie and his wife Marie of North Andover; Michael Rennie and his wife Diane of Malden and Diane Gavin and her husband John of Beverly. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Melissa, Lindsay, Hunter, Christine, Rachael, William III, Katie, Patrick and Sean and by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday February 2nd at 9 AM followed by interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM.
