Wife of the late Paul Drain. Mother of John Drain and his wife Joanne of Abington, Paula Briggs and her husband James of Rochester, NY, Peter Drain and his wife Patrizia of Marshall Township, PA and Janice MacDonald of Denver, CO. Sister of Harry Hamparian of Arlington. Celia was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Celia loved people of every walk of life, especially her neighbors and friends. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Drain was an honorary volunteer at Wellspring in Hull. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crochet, her pets and the Red Sox. She will be remembered as loving, curious, independent and social with a great sense of humor. She was one of a kind.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service in St. John the Evangelist Church, 172 Main St., Hingham on Saturday at 11 AM.
