Bello, Donald R. age 93 of Taunton, formerly of Monessen, PA passed away January 28th at home after a short illness. Born in Big Soldier, PA he was the son of Italian Immigrants Francisco & Maria (Sevo) Bello. He was raised in Monessen, PA and graduated from Monessen High School. He was a Melder Foreman at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for many years before retiring. He has lived in Taunton for the last 8 years and previously lived in Brockton for 22 years. He was an avid deer hunter and Pittsburgh Pirates & Steelers fan and changed his allegiance to the Red Sox and Patriots after moving to Massachusetts. Beloved husband of 68 years of Elvera (Mazzi). Father of Gerry Hogan & her husband Gary of S. Easton & Gary Bello & his wife Sheila of Lexington, KY. Brother of Frank of CA & Ray Bello of CO & Rose Jurecvich of PA. He was pre-deceased by his infant son Donald Jr., his grandson Brian M. Hogan, his brother Patsy & four sisters Thersa Glogosh, Lena Turpak, Katherine Bello & Mary Sendek. Also survived by 9 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington St. Taunton Friday (5-8 pm).
