TEWKSBURY: Mary C. (Berube) Harrington, age 50, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at her home.
She was the wife of Paul S. Harrington, with whom she celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on May 28, 2007
Born in Lowell on November 4, 1957, she was the daughter of Catherine T. “Kay” (Sheehan) Berube of Tewksbury and the late Donald E. Berube.
Mrs. Harrington attended the former Saint Williams Parochial School and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1976.
She was a communicant of Saint Williams Parish of Tewksbury.
Mrs. Harrington dedicated her life to caring for her husband and children.
According to her family, she enjoyed cooking, drawing, reading, watching the Boston Red Sox with her husband and visiting with her many family members and friends.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Leslie A. Harrington of Tewksbury and Jennifer A. Boyle and her husband Thomas of Lowell; one son, John P. Harrington of Tewksbury; one sister, Susan B. Hansen and her husband Gerald of Tewksbury; one brother, Stephen L. Berube of Tewksbury; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marguerite M. and Francis D. Harrington of Tewksbury; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Calling hours Wednesday, January 30th, from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Thursday, January 31st, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Raymond F. Tremlett Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Joan Tremlett, 3 Tomahawk Drive, Tewksbury, MA 01876 are suggested.
