Margaret M. Phillips, 77

Dateline: Fruitland, Florida

Margaret M. ”Peg” (O’Rourke) Phillips, 77, of Fruitland Park, Florida formerly of Mansfield died on Sunday January 27, 2008 at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Lee Phillips.
Born in Boston, MA on January 16, 1931 she grew up in Boston and was educated in Boston schools.
Since living in Florida she had worked in various capacities at McDonalds Restaurant. While living in Mansfield she had worked as a waitress at the former Bernie’s LTD in Mansfield and at the former Golden Steer in Walpole.
While living in Mansfield Peg was an attendant of St. Mary’s Church. When younger she enjoyed performing in musicals, she was a true people person and treasured the times spent with her loving family. A resident of Florida of over 12 years she had formerly made her home in Mansfield.
She was the mother of Michael Donovan of Maine and the late Richard J. Weineck, also survived by her loving grandchildren Jason R. Weineck, Lindsey M. Rosa and her husband David and Christopher M. Weineck all of Mansfield, her great grandson Evan Rosa and her daughter in law Ann Marie Weineck of Mansfield.
Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday February 23rd at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Private burial will be at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
There will be no visiting hours. Donations in “Peg’s” memory may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
