Frances E. (Jones) Connolly, 83, of Bellingham formerly of Dedham and Hyde Park died on Saturday January 26, 2008 at UMASS-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen V. Connolly, Sr.
Born in Boston, MA on January 9, 1924 she was a daughter of the late James W. and Evelyn M. (Hatch) Jones.
She grew up and was educated in the Hyde Park Section of Boston and was a 1941graduate of Hyde Park High School.
Mrs. Connolly had been employed as a manager at Clothes Way in Westwood for over 10 years prior to retiring.
Her hobbies included floral arranging. She had made her home in Bellingham for the past 8 years and was a former longtime resident of Dedham and Hyde Park.
She is survived by her devoted son Stephen V. Connolly, Jr. of Bellingham, she was the sister of Thomas McGuinness of Norton and the late Richard Jones, also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 30th at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp Street Norton. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
