AUBURN____Elaine M. (Loiselle) LeBlanc, 64, of Auburn, died Friday January 25, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
She leaves her devoted husband of 41 years, Gerald E. LeBlanc. She also leaves many nephews and nieces and many friends including her childhood friends who were as close as sisters, Janice Lauzonis, Susan Boucher and Mary Ann Gardzina. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Henry J. and Florence A. (Therrien) Loiselle and had lived in Auburn for 39 years. She was also predeceased by her Aunt, Lydia Therrien.
Elaine was employed as a legal secretary / para legal by several Worcester law firms for many years. She was a graduate of Holy Name High School, class of 1961 and also graduated from Salter Secretarial School. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Worcester. Elaine was a generous and giving person who enjoyed taking care of others. She enjoyed reading doing crafts and gladly passed her knowledge to those interested in learning.
The family wishes to thank Elaine’s doctors and nurses for the wonderful care they provided her.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday January 29 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, Worcester. Calling hours are in the funeral home Monday January 28 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elaine’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.
