WEBSTER – Florence V. (Davis) Scully, 85, of 247 Thompson Road, died Saturday, January 26, after being stricken ill. Her husband of 28 years, Spencer P. Scully, died in 1970.
She leaves 5 children, Donna J. Gerani and her husband Paul of Sutton, Darlene A. Young and her husband Norman of Cumberland, RI, Colleen M. Dziembowski and her husband Arthur, with whom she lived, Spencer P. Scully and his wife Phyllis of Webster, and Dawn L. LaBonte and her husband Dale of Thompson, CT; 2 brothers, Leonard Davis of Charlton and Roger Davis of Sutton; 6 grandchildren, Wendy, Diana, Craig, Christopher, Alison and Megan; a great grandson Anthony; nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Sutton, a daughter of Anson and Bernice (Boulster) Davis. She moved to Webster at the time of her marriage.
Mrs. Scully worked at various shoe and textile mills in the area before retiring in 1985. She enjoyed crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and sitting near Webster Lake. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services are planned. Donations in her memory may be made to the Friends of St. Joseph School Fund, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570. Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, is directing the arrangements.
