Pearl E. Chabot, 85, of Derry, NH died Wednesday January 29, 2003 in the Hanover Hill Healthcare, Manchester following a lengthy illness. She was born in Quebec, Canada on January 9, 1918 the daughter of the late James and Alice (Brennan) Perron. She had been a resident of Derry since 1946, formerly living in Rock Island, Quebec, Canada. She was the former owner and operator of the Highway Superette in Derry for many years. She served as Past President of the B.P.W. (Business and Professional Women’s Club) in Derry where she had been an active member for many years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela G. Denny, East Hampstead, her grandson, Aaron C. Denny, East Hampstead, one sister, Blanche Webb, Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, also several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday February 3, 2003 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 – 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
