Leon St. Laurent, 73, of Fall River, passed away at home Jan. 24, 2008 after a long illness & surrounded by his loving family. Husband of Joyce (Ridge) St. Laurent & lifelong resident of Fall River. Son of the late Arthur & Aline (Laurendo) St. Laurent. Prior to retiring in 2000, he had worked as a Foreman in the Sheet Metal Dept. for Hoyt Manufacturing for 43 years.
Besides his wife of Fall River, he is survived by 1 son: Steven St. Laurent of Litchfield, New Hampshire. 4 daughters: Arlene Massa & husband Louis, Cynthia St. Laurent & companion Alan Read, Denise Fragoza & husband Ricardo all of Fall River, Lisa Viveiros & husband Paul of Westfield, MA. 1 sister: Lucille Reed of Blackstone, MA. 4 brothers: Arthur St. Laurent of Bellingham, MA, Henry St. Laurent of Somerset, Norman & Armand St. Laurent both of Fall River. 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, & many nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Albert & Raymond St. Laurent, Juliette Houle, & Jeanie Lane.
His funeral service will take place Monday at 11 A.M. in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA. Cremation to follow. Visitation Monday 9:00 A.M. – 12:00P.M.
