ETHEL HOLDEN
GROTON- Ethel Louise (Meyer) Holden of 425 Drozdyk Drive, Windham Estates, Groton, died Tuesday at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital where she was admitted on Friday.
She was born in Union City, New Jersey, on December 10, 1908. She moved from Maywood, NJ to Ledyard in 1979 and had been a resident of Windham Estates for the past two years. A homemaker, she took great pride in her family.
Her husband, Kenneth S. Holden died April 1, 1984.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in law Karen and Keith Griffin of Ledyard, her granddaughter and her husband, Krista & Rob Stadnicki of Concord, NH, a grandson and his wife, Kyle and Michelle Griffin of Ledyard, and five great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Connor and Kurtis Stadnicki, and Branden and John Griffen of Ledyard.
A funeral service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Saturday at 10am. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. .
