Eleen Cleghorn White, 77, of the Lands Crossing Community in Irwin County died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, January 25, 2008 at Arp Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rex Johnson officiating.
Mrs. White was born May 15, 1930 in Ben Hill County to the late Tan J. and Mae Driver Cleghorn. She was a homemaker and lived in the community most of her life. Mrs. White was a former employee of Fitzgerald Mills, Fitzgerald Underwear and Tice Yarn. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club and a charter member of Arp Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, June W. & Ron Womack of Lands Crossing community; grandchildren, April (Krieg) Luke, Camaron (Amy) Davis all of Fitzgerald; son-in-law, Larry J. Davis of Fitzgerald. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Durrell White, a daughter, Charlene Davis, 1 brother and 5 sisters.
