Obituary

WORCESTER__Anna Antoinette (Pavilionis) DeFeudis, 90, of Worcester, passed away at home on Tuesday January 22. Her husband, Francis F. DeFeudis died in 1981.

She leaves two daughters, Mary A. Nugent and Helen Matukevitch with whom she lived, two grandchildren, Christina A. Oldenburg and her husband Randy, of Worcester, Keith M. Nugent and his wife Jill of Holden and their children, Elizabeth and Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Sonya Campbell, a brother, and three sisters. Anna was born in Worcester, a daughter of Anthony and Magdelina (Shulinskas) Pavilionis. She lived in Sutton for twenty years prior to returning to Worcester.

Mrs. DeFeudis was a stitcher having worked at several establishments in Worcester before retiring from Massad Co. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, word puzzles, crocheting and her pet canary “Arby” (who terrorized whoever came near) and for many years, her cottage at Cape Cod.

The private funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday January 25 in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA., 01608.
