TYNGSBORO - Joseph P. Cabral, 83, a resident of Tyngsboro, died unexpectedly Tuesday January 22nd at his home.
He was born in Cambridge on September 9, 1924, and was the son of the late Eugene and Albertina (Martel) Cabral.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Cabral was employed as a plumbing and heating technician.
His family remembers his as being a jack of all trades.
In his free time he enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with his cat Bridie.
He is survived by for children Joseph J. Cabral and his wife Donna of Litchfield, NH; Anthony E. Cabral of Hudson, NH; Tina M. Clermont and her husband Gary of Derry, NH; and John E. Cabral of Canton, MA; four grandchildren Lynn Richardson and her husband Greg of Litchfield, NH, Patricia Cabral of Norwood, and Michael Shea Jr., and Cynthia Shea, both of Derry, NH; four great grandchildren Anastasia Coker and Phoebe Coker, both of Norwood, and Austin Richardson and Wendy Richardson, both of Litchfield, NH; a brother Gene Cabral of Runnemede, NJ; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Saturday from 3 until 7 PM. His Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
