NOVATO, Calif. John A. DeGregorio, 56, formerly of Franklin, died suddenly Jan. 22, 2008, in San Rafael, Calif. Born in Milford, Sept. 17, 1951, a son of Gloria (Mucciarone) Rollinson of Franklin and the late Henry DeGregorio, he was raised and educated in Franklin, and had lived in California for 30 years. He was a retired self-employed carpet installer. His hobbies and interests included hunting, fishing, trapping and the New England Patriots. Surviving in addition to his mother in Franklin is a daughter, Sherry Peters of Spring Valley, Calif., and a sister, Judith A. DeGregorio of Newark, Calif. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday, at 11 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
