Maria Ines Barboza, 72, of Wray died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 8 P.M. Tuesday evening, January 22, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Douglas with Jorge Aponte, Ricardo Regueiro and Ray Way officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Barboza was born May 3, 1935 in Mexico to the late Nicolas and Tomasa Parbul Elizondo. She was a homemaker and lived in the community for the past four years. Mrs. Barboza was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Douglas.
She is survived by her husband, Telesforo Barboza of Wray; children, Yolanda (Rendal) Harper of Wray, Javier (Cinthia) Barboza, Jaime (Virginia) Barboza, Leticia (Jose Espericoeta) Barboza, Gabriel (Angelica) Barboza, Griselda (Rogelio) Bonilla, Juan (Guadalupe) Barboza, Rocio (Manuel) Lazo and Rafael (Adriana) Barboza; 33 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Guadalupe Elizondo and Rosario Elizondo; brothers, Alfredo Elizondo and Jose Elizondo. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Barboza.
