Obituary

Louise E. (Pecci) Bastable, 87, died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Bastable. Born in Franklin, she was raised in Franklin and Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Jamaica Plain Schools. She was a resident of West Bridgewater for about 4 years, after living in Stoughton for over 50 years. She worked as a seamstress and as a Pharmacy Clerk for Stoughton Drug for several years, retiring in the 1970’s. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, painting, playing piano and traveling to Foxwoods.

She is survived by her two sons, John E. Bastable of N. Easton and Howard Bracket of Needham. She was the sister of the late Samuel Pecci, Artillio Pecci, Raymond Pecci, Eva Blasi, Olivia Lussier and Mary Manning. Mrs. Bastable is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, January 23 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM.
