Obituary


Roe W. Donohue 75 years of West Bridgewater entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 16, 2008 at St. Joseph Manor. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Mather)(Conway) Donohue. He was born and raised in Willsboro, NY a son of the late Patrick “Mickey” and Dorotha (French) Donohue. As a young man he moved with his family to Whitman and had lived in Brockton from1980 to 2003 before moving to West Bridgewater.
During the Korean Conflict Mr. Donohue served in the US Army and was stationed in Augsburg, Germany. He and his wife had owned and managed a Wise Potato Chip distributorship serving Southeastern Mass, Cape Cod and the Islands. Mr. Donohue loved to travel and take road trips in his motor home.
In addition to his wife of 27 years he is survived by his 3 children Craig Donohue and his wife Maura of Whitman; Lauren Conway of Brockton and Steven Conway of West Bridgewater .He was the grandfather of Khory James Conway, Kourtney Alexis Conway and Kodie James Conway and the brother of Marie Nevens of California, Patricia Rondeau of Bridgewater and the late Glenn Donohue. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will be held from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, W. Bridgewater at 10 am. Burial with military honors in the Mass National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 pm. Visiting hours Monday 1-3 and 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Roe’s name may be made to the Patient Activity Fund at St. Joseph Manor 215 Thatcher St. Brockton, MA 02302.
