Robert F. Dumont, 52, of Boyden St., Woonsocket, died Monday evening at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Roland and Aurore (Tremblay) Dumont, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Dumont worked for the Metal Box Co. for several years. Robert enjoyed walking, fishing, and karaoke.
Survivors include his companion of 27 years, Greta Hogan, of Woonsocket, two brothers, Ronald Dumont, of Providence, and Raymond Dumont, of Blackstone, four sisters, Claire Mongeon, Madeline Desrochers, and Helen Dussault, all of Woonsocket, and Denise Plante, of Johnston, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Christine Dumont.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 6-8 pm in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray funeral expenses. Please visit fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
