
Mrs. Robbie Dove Paulk, 92, of Irwinville, died Wednesday, January 16, at the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with the Rev. Jerry Wilson and Rev. Sonny Pate officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Paulk was born December 2, 1915, in Cook County, Georgia to the late Cliff M. and Pearl Vickers Dove. She lived in the community most of her life where she worked in the Fitzgerald Elementary school lunchrooms and retired from Fitzgerald Underwear. She was a former resident of Winter Haven, FL working in the Bordo Citrus Plant. Mrs. Paulk also worked at the Robins Air Base bomber plant during World War II. She was a member of Irwinville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Paulk is survived by her Sister, Juanita Turner of Winter Haven, FL; brothers, LaVernon Dove of Irwinville and LaVon Dove of Norman Park as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, L.A. Dove and D.J. Dove and a sister, Joyce Kilgore.
