Obituary

Eileen A. Hennessy, 46, of 344 Main St.,Cherry Valley, a section
of Leicester, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 16 at her home.
She leaves her daughter Allison R. Power, her long time companion Thomas
Power, 5 brothers; John A. Hennessy, Jr. of Leicester, Edward F. Hennessy
and his wife Catherine of Oldsmar, Fla., Richard Hennessy and his wife Dawn
of New Braintree, Dennis E. Hennessy and his wife LuAnn of Cherry Valley,
James M. Hennessy of Oakham, a sister, Patricia E. Vanasse of Oakham and
many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a brother Donal J. Hennessy in 1994 and a sister
Kathleen A. Soucie in 2003.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of John A. & Frances X. (Doran)
Hennessy, Sr.
She was a graduate of Leicester High School and received her associates
degree from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Leicester.
Eileen was a caring homemaker, who spent her whole life caring for her
family and others. She was a loving person and was such as a volunteer in
the Leicester schools, and as someone who knew and attended to the needs of
many elderly in the town. She loved camping, crafts, gardening, animals,
birthdays and her beloved daughter Allison and long time companion Tom.
The funeral will be held Saturday, January 19 from the MORRISON-MORIN
FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St. Leicester, with a Mass at 9 A.M. in St. Pius X
Church, 1152 Main St. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery,
Leicester. Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
