
Lenola “Lee” (Deal) Pelletier, 79 of Walpole and formerly of Millis died January 16 in Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of Omer E. Pelletier.
Born in Rocky Comfort, Missouri, April 10, 1928 the daughter of the late Oliver E. and Mary Etta (Grainger) Deal, Mrs. Pelletier was raised in Missouri and had lived in Millis for 27 years before moving to Walpole in 1973.
Along with her husband, she had operated Mimi’s Variety Store in Walpole for over 20 years.
Mrs. Pelletier enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and most of all being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Marie Chabot and her husband, Paul of Cleveland, Georgia, Karen Munroe and her husband, Charles of Oakwood, Georgia, Linda Pelletier of Attleboro, Susan Pelletier of Cataumet, James Pelletier and his wife, Mary Ellen of Walpole, David Pelletier and his wife, Lisa of Keller, Texas and Dawn Nee and her husband, Tim of Walpole.
She is also survived by her brothers, Elmer and Thomas Deal of Oklahoma. She was the sister of the late Olive Evans, Onel Deal, Harold Deal and Cloetta Carden.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tammy Foley, Joe Dmytryck, Derek and Keith Munroe, Stephanie and Sam Tsimortos, Michael Lee, Megan, Timothy, Ryan, Aylsee, Erica and Madison Pelletier and Michael, Andrew and Daniel Nee. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 19 from the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St., Walpole at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole at 10:00.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.
