In Taunton, January 16, 2008 Mary O. died after a lengthy illness at age 86 in Morton Hospital. Mary was the wife of the late Charles J. Gillis. Born & educated in Boston to the late John & Coral (Duggin) Bean. Mary has resided in Taunton for the last 28 years and before that lived in Randolph. Mary worked at the Raytheon Co. in Quincy and Gillette Co. in Boston. She was a former member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and cards. Mary is survived by her four children Charles Gillis of Englewood, FL., Maryann Waring of Louden, NH., Joyce Webber of Taunton and Rita Papp of Raynham. Sister of her late twin Gene Bean and John Bean, Harold Bean, Irene Lawson, Rita McKay. Grandmother of fourteen, great of sixteen and great great of two. Mary is also survived by several neices and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washingon St. Taunton, MA. Saturday January 19th at 10am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday from 3-7pm. Interment in Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
