Lucille L. Blais, 78, a life long resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Edward and Aurora (Benoit) Blais and educated in Lawrence local schools. She attended Lawrence High School and she was a graduate of Macintosh Business School. Ms. Blais worked for H & S Machine Company in Lawrence, MA. as a Secretary for 40 years until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed social events at the MI Residential Building where she lived. She loved to spend time with her family. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's Church (St. Mary of the Assumption Church) in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
She leaves two sisters Eldora T. Carrien of Lawrence, MA. and Shirley A. and her husband Donald Rose of Jamestown, RI one brother Donald and his wife Eleanor Blais of Salem, N.H. As well as many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by: Lorraine Gerard, Alfred Blais and Reynold A. Blais.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19th, 2008 at 12:00PM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church. An Entombment will follow in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum Chapel in Lawrence, MA.
