Bessie Pauline Hogue Bessie Pauline Hogue, 78, Clarksville, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 3 pm Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 1, 1929 in Davidson County daughter of the late William Rayburn and Gladys Springer Rayburn. She was preceded in death by her former husband, James "Red" Hogue. Ms. Hogue retired from Acme Boot Company.
She was a member of Shelby Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Wallace (Russell) and Donna Hogue both of Clarksville; a grandson, Matt Robinson; two special girls that call her Grandmother, Courtney Sanford and Lesley Green; and a very special nephew, Donald Eugene Edwards. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Wayne Hogue; two brothers, Robert J. and Howard Rayburn; and a sister, Louise Curtis. Pallbearers will be Bill Wallace, Frank Wallace, John Whitworth, William Green, E.J. Edwards, and Mike Smith.
