Lillian E. Prosser, 98

Lillian E. (Clapp) Prosser, 98, of Raynham formerly of Mansfield and Westwood died on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert H. Prosser to whom she was wed for 59 years at the time of his death on January 15, 1988.
Born in Sterling, MA on August 16, 1909 she was a daughter of the late Charles and Abigail (Keefe) Clapp.
She was educated in the Sterling area and at age 16 graduated from the David Hall Fanning Girls Trade School in Worcester. Mrs. Prosser was a dedicated homemaker to her loving family.
An avid reader, Lillian enjoyed crocheting and gardening and when younger she enjoyed skiing and ballroom dancing. She treasured the times spent with her children and grandchildren and will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills.
She recently had moved to Raynham and was a former resident of Mansfield and Westwood and had also lived in Yarmouthport.
She is survived by her devoted children; Albert Prosser of Dedham, Dorothy Coombs of Fort Worth, Texas, Marjorie Killion of Wrentham, Shirley Bulger of Foxboro, Joanne G. Rys and her husband Frederick of South Harwich, Linda Sears and her husband Edward of Raynham and the late Barbara Miceli, she was the sister of the late Charles Clapp, her twin brother George Clapp and Kathryn Seaman, also survived by her cherished 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, she was the mother in law of the late Wesson Coombs, James Killion, Robert Bulger and Louis Miceli.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday January 22nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Sterling.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral services on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
