Laconia-Adele Marion Breton, 100, of 406 Court Street, formerly of Bishop Bradley Apartments, and Union Avenue, died Monday afternoon, January 14, 2008 at St. Francis Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.
Born in Stoke Center, Canada on May 5, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Isaie J. and Annie M. (Blais) Breton and had been a resident of Laconia for most of her life.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at the former Morin Hosiery Mill, H.H. Wood, Scott & Williams Company, and the Globe Department Store in the shoe department. Adele was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church.
The last surviving child of her family, Adele is predeceased by her three brothers, and three sisters.
Adele is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes, 50 Washington Street, Laconia Reverend George J. Soberick pastor of the church celebrated her mass. Burial followed in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street.
