LOWELL—Mandy D. (Williams) Bagley, 60 years old, a resident of Lowell for the past 54 years, died Friday evening, January 11th, at Saints Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Roland A. Bagley. She was also the wife of the late Tyler C. Jones, Sr., who died in 1979.
She was born in Wilson, NC, on September 25, 1947, a daughter of the late David and Katie Mae (Anderson) Williams, Jr. She was a graduate of the Lowell Public School System.
Mrs. Bagley was a deeply religious person and was a member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church, in Lowell.
Surviving her besides her husband are two daughters and a son-in-law: Meekelia, and Wendell Walker, of Lowell; and Stacy Jones and her companion James Mitchell, of Lowell; a son: Tyler C. Jones, Jr., and his fiancé Candy Cordero, of Lowell; a brother: James Armstrong, of Lowell; five sisters: Annie Tune and Lilly Mae Williams, both of Baltimore, MD; Frances Simmons, Ruby McDougal, and Christine Williams, all of Lowell; eleven grandchildren: Tyler C. Jones, III; Marquis Diaz; Brandon Jones; Brian Jones; Arius Jones; Hydia Jones; Sade Jones; Mark Jones, Jr.; Wendell Walker, Jr.; Travelle Delgado; and Courtney Walker; also many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Mark Jones who died in 1994 and the sister of the late Floyd Williams, who died in 2006.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 17th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her funeral service to be held on Friday January 18th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
