
Fall River - Kurt Wayne Perry, 37, passed away unexpectedly, January 9, 2008. Born in New Bedford, son of Antone and Kathleen (Cordeiro) Perry, he had lived in Westport for most of his life prior to moving to Fall River a year ago.
A graduate of Westport High School Class of 1987, he did restaurant work in Westport while in school. He had his own landscaping business and did maintenance work in nursing homes, where the female residents loved him. Mr. Perry loved to cook and share his cooking skills with other people he knew. He attended Hope Evangelical Church, N. Dartmouth. A very warm and loveable person, he loved to play cards with his paternal grandparents, aunt Mary and uncle Richard, who he was especially close to. He took great pride in his beautiful flower and vegetable garden he had while living with his parents.
Including his parents, he is survived by: 2 brothers: Gregory Perry of Westport and Keith Perry and his wife Jenn of Westport; 2 nephews: Jesse and Kevin; a niece: Courtney; 2 uncles: Daniel and Raymond; an aunt: Karen Taylor; 4 cousins: Stacey, Richard, Raymond and Dana Taylor; 3 maternal cousins: Barbara Costa and Paul and Wayne Cordeiro; and many paternal cousins:
He was grandson of the late John and Mary Cordeiro and Manuel and Irene Perry, nephew of the late Richard and Larry and cousin of the late Bruce Perry.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Hope Evangelical Church, 88 Hathaway Road, N. Dartmouth.
Burial will be private.
