Karen McKenzie, 56, of Malden passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on January 13th, 2008. She was born in Brockton on December 31st, 1951 to her parents Richard and Lillian (Emmons) McKenzie. Karen is a graduate of Swampscott High School, Class of 1969. She has worked for the John Hancock Insurance Company for the past 36 years. She is survived by her mother Lillian (Emmons) McKenzie of Malden; her sister Margaret McKenzie of Malden; her brothers Richard McKenzie and his wife Viola of Arlington, TX and Robert McKenzie of Middleton; and by her nephews Scott McKenzie of Montana and Ian McKenzie of Connecticut. Karen was predeceased by her father Richard McKenzie; her sister-in-law Sandra McKenzie; her niece Kathryn McKenzie and her nephew Anthony McKenzie.
