Eleanor (Travaille) Davis passed away peacefully on January 12, 2008 after a valiant struggle against breast cancer.
Born Nov. 3, 1933 in Milton, OR to Clarence and Rose Ellen (York) Travaille, she moved to Walla Walla,WA to attend nursing school after graduating high school. While working at Whitman Hospital in Colfax, WA, she met her life love, Kenneth Davis, on a blind date set up by their roommates. Ken and Ellie were married Dec. 21, 1957 in Milton, OR. They made their way East and had 3 children along the way. They lived in Waterford, CT for 10 years, moved to New Providence, NJ for 22 years, and recently returned to Mystic, CT.
Ellie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was very involved with church-related activities, loved traveling with Ken across the country in their RV, as well as to other countries they always wanted to visit.
Eleanor is survived by her husband Kenneth; a son Terry (Karin) of Livingston, NJ; a daughter, Deborah (Tom) Spector of Columbia, CT; 7 grandchildren, a sister, Cari Jo Reed of UT, and a son-in-law, Peter Biagiotti. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Biagiotti and a sister, Ranona Clark.
