Mary P. Fazio , 76 of Medford formerly of Somerville died Tuesday after a long illness.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Lucy (Russo) Blasi. The wife of the late Joseph J. Fazio Sr. Lucy was a Stitcher, employed by at various garments shops in the Boston Area.Mrs. Fazio was a member of the ILGWU.
She is survived by Daughter Joanne Grande and her husband Anthony Grande of Medford, Joseph J. Fazio Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Revere. Loving grandmother of Thomas, Davida, Chris, Lisa Grande, Nicole and Sean Fazio. Great grandmother of Chloe Maree Grande. Sister of Anna Fleming of NJ, Guy Blasi of NH and the late Carol Blasi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 AM in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford/Somerville the Rev. Dennis A. Dever officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends may visit Thursday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
