In Taunton, January 10, 2008 John F. died after a period of failing health at the age of 88. Husband of Patricia (Santos) Cullen & former husband of Virginia Cullen. John was the son of the late John F. & Margaret (Mariner) Cullen. He was a lifetime resident of Taunton. John was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. John was educated in schools in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School. John was the owner of Cullen Auto Sales in Taunton for 40 years. He enjoyed watching sports and was a former member of the VFW & Taunton Boys Club. John is also survived by his four children John F. of Oregon, Peter K. of Taunton, Joan Kuliga of Assonet and Tamra Mirka of Taunton. He was the Grandfather of nine & great Grandfather of four. The brother of the late Alice Mahar, Isabelle Beaulieu, Elsie Duddy and William “Spider” Cullen. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Monday, Jan. 14th at 10am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Annunciation of the Lord Church at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sun. from 5-8pm. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
