Charles Edward Williams, 45, of Tifton died Friday, January 11, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2008, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Charles Nichols will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Cole, Joe Walker, Keith Rigsby, Arnie Roland, Bruce Kirkland, Bruce Gottfried. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13, 2008, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Mr. Williams was born on September 20, 1962 in Tifton and was the son of Grady Williams and Frances Marie McCorvey Williams, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Williams; and one sister, Betty Mohseni. He was disabled and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Valerie Suggs Williams of Tifton; one son, Josh Williams of Tifton; one daughter, Brandi Williams of Tifton; one sister, Barbara Wrye of Amelia Island; one grandson, Zachary; and beloved pets, Frankie and Benjie.
