DAYTON, OH - Stanley J. Strykowski, "Lucky" Jr., 59, a resident of Dayton, OH for the past year and a half, and formerly of Florida, and Dracut, died Wednesday January 9th at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH after a brief illness.
He was born in Lowell on July 24, 1948, and was a son of Stanley J. Strykowski, Sr., and Claire J. (Sylvestre) Strykowski of Dracut. He was a graduate of St. Michael Grammar School in Lowell and Dracut High School.
Mr. Strykowski served in United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as an automotive mechanic for many years.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing, football and wrestling.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters Cynthia Strykowski of Florida and Christina and Casey Strykowski of Dayton, OH; two grandsons, Jonathan Strykowski of Florida, and Wyatt Strykowski of Dayton, OH; two sisters, Donna Strykowski of Chelmsford, and Karen and Traci Strykowski of Lowell; a nephew Raymond Strykowski of Dedham; and several aunts, and cousins.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Monday from 4 until 7PM. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10AM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
