Richmond, VA: Cecile A. Gagnon, 97, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007.
Born in Manchester, NH, February 27, 1910, she was the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Turgeon) Brouillette.
With the exception of the past seven years, she was a lifelong resident of Manchester, N.H. She was a shoe worker, a member of St. Jean Baptiste Parish (Parish of the Transfiguration), a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, and a member of the Holy Family Association in Richmond. For the past year and a half, Cecile has been a resident at St. Joseph's Home in Richmond., VA.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Gagnon
IN HER LIFE:Cecile is survived by her daughter, Annette Lang and her husband, Joseph, of Richmond; her son, The Rev. Leo G. Gagnon, chaplain of St. Joseph's Home in Richmond; her two grandchildren, Kimberly Lang of Midlothian and Matthew Lang and his wife, Maura, of Mobile, Ala.; and her great-granddaughter, Santanna Lang of Midlothian.
SERVICES: Burial Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 10, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester, N.H. Instead of flowers or Masses, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to St. Joseph's Home - the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michael Road, Richmond, Va. 23229.
