SALEM, NH – JoAnn M. McGravey 52 of Salem NH daughter of the late Vincent J. and Gloria G. (Sicard) McGravey died Monday January 7, 2008 at the New England Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Born in Methuen, MA, she was educated in Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She also attended U Mass Amherst and also Northern Essex Community College School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse with Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley. According to her family she enjoyed gardening, cooking and had a love for animals.
She leaves her life partner of 21 years Maureen A. Carr of Salem, NH.
1 sister Kathleen A Bergeron and her husband Harvey of Loudon, NH.
1 brother Robert V. McGravey and his wife Joyce of Fremont, NH.
3 nephews Dr. Stephen Pimpare, Robert S. and David M. McGravey
1 niece Marybeth K. Pimpare.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the Leukemia Society Donor Services P.O. Box 4072 Pittsfield, MA 01202. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen, MA.
