Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary Information
Mrs. Chobit died Wednesday at the Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Holbrook, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah J. and Nora M. (O’Connell) Mack. She had been a resident of Brockton for the past 60 years. She had been employed by various local shoe manufacturing companies for many years. She enjoyed traveling and time spent with her family.
She is survived by her son Edward J. Chobit and his wife Ruth of Brockton, a brother J. Gerald Mack of Abington, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles, John and Joseph Mack, Claire Harris, Mary Parry and Joan Morey.
