William F. Cuddy, formerly of Roslindale & Center Effingham, NH, January 4, 2008. Husband of Mary E. (Connelly) Cuddy. Father of Rev. William F. (Captain, CHC, USN/Washington DC), John T. and Michael F. (Roslindale), Gregory P. and his wife Katherine (Dorchester), Mary E. Borden and her husband Lawrence (Tewksbury), Joseph P. (Menlo Park, CA), Richard F. (Chelsea) and Martin W. and his wife Fernanda (Arlington). Also survived by his grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Son of the (late) William F. and Mary A. Cuddy. Brother of Robert M. Cuddy, Rita O’Brien, Constance Boudreau and the (late) John D. Cuddy.
Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY Friday at 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Lower Church, 169 Cummins Hwy, Roslindale on January 11, 2008 at 11 A.M., with interment to follow at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.

Mr. Cuddy died at his winter home St. Augustine, Florida. He was born and raised in Roslindale; a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps (Fighter Pilot/VMF-111) he and his brother Jack went into business and operated Cuddy’s Donut Shop in Roslindale & Jamaica Plain.
