Annie Bumpus Ledbetter Annie Bumpus Ledbetter, 96, Clarksville, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center. The funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Don Sensing officiating. Burial will be in Woodall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm today and from 10 am until 11 am service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 16, 1911 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Thomas Pritle Bumpus and Leona Baggett Bumpus. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Ledbetter. Mrs. Ledbetter was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville. She had worked at B.F. Goodrich for thirty two years. Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Bell (Leroy), Nashville, TN; and Mary Frances Brooks, San Antonio, TX; grandchildren: Michael Gibbs and David K. Gibbs,Clarksville; Paula Gibbs, Alaska; Ken Bell, Tuscaloosa, AL; and Don Bell, Nashville; great-grandchildren: Amanda Gibbs, David E. Gibbs, Jeremiah Gibbs, Charlotte Temple and Jess Gibbs. Pallbearers will be Michael Gibbs, David E. Gibbs, David K. Gibbs, Jeremiah Gibbs, Jess Gibbs, and Ken Bell.
