Aline A. (Adams) Reardon, 72, of Dracut, died Saturday January 5th, after a long battle with cancer, at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas F. Reardon to whom she was married for 52 years.
Born in Lowell on April 7, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Morneau) Adams.
Mrs. Reardon was educated in Lowell schools. She worked at Raytheon for 15 years until her retirement. Previously, she worked for A.J. Gagnons in Dracut as a school bus driver for the Dracut school system for 15 years. She was also very active in the Angel’s Group and TOPS in Lowell. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, traveling, shopping, and gambling at Foxwoods.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reardon is survived by two daughters Diane Ackley and her husband William of Dracut and Karen Gehalo and her husband Kenneth of Fremont, NH; two brothers Roger Adams of Lowell and Louis Adams and his wife Linda of Florida; three sisters Florence Dubois and her husband Ernest of Dracut, Theresa Trepanier and her husband Ernest of Pelham, NH, and Rita Couture and her husband Gerard of Dracut; a grandson Christopher Gehalo and his wife Elizabeth of Nottingham, NH; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was also the sister of the late Joseph, Henry, Emile, and Gerard Adams; Pauline Smith; and Lillian Couture.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. Her funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 8 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 AM at St. Francis Church in Dracut. Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Angel’s Group Foundation, 100 Faith Ave, Dracut, MA 01826.
