Gloria L. Puopolo, 80 of Medford, died Friday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1948 and formerly of the West End of Boston. She was the daughter of the late Amelia (Frongella) and Joseph Lanzilla. Gloria was a Supervisor, at the former TRW in Cambridge for over 20 years and retired in 1987. She also worked at Sparks Department Store in Malden.
Beloved wife of the late Albert T. Puopolo Sr. Devoted mother of Albert T. Puopolo Jr. and his wife Denise of Medford, Maria Galante of Tewksbury. Loving grandmother of Nicole and Angela Puopolo. Loving great grandmother of DeAnna Castro. Sister of Louis Lanzilla of Florida, Gene Lanzilla of California and Rose Lanzilla of Watertown. A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Thursday, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at 10:30 AM.
