Dorothy E. Margeson, 81 of Franklin died January 5 at her home.
Born in Norton, July 28, 1926, the daughter of the late Carl and Christine (Parfrement) Margeson, Miss Margeson had lived in Franklin for most of her life.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School.
Miss Margeson had worked in the Town of Franklin assessors office for many years before retiring.
She had previously worked in the First National Store in Franklin.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara L. Margeson, R.N. of Norwood.
She is also survived by her faithful companion, Randi.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from Noon until 1:00 p.m.
