Reverend Tracy M. Ragland was born October 17, 1953, to the late Sam Ragland, Jr., and Mrs. Lucy Glover Ragland. He departed this life on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at his residence.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Flint Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Ross L. Payton. He was united in holy matrimony to Pearl Smith.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Randolph Ragland, Sr., and Sherman Ragland and one sister, Mrs. Jimmy (Pattie) Payne.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories his wife, Mrs. Pearl Ragland; two brothers: Eddie (Emma) Ragland, Sr., and Johnny (Loretta) Ragland; three sisters: Mary (Jessie) Kelly, Dolly (Willie) Thompson, and Luewillia F. Ragland all of Huntsville, AL, one sister-in-law Betty Ragland, and one brother-in-law, Reverend Willie Payne, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Tracy M. Ragland will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church with Elder L. R. Peyton officiating. Interment will be in Crowson Cemetery. The remains of Mr. Ragland will lie in state in the church one hour prior to funeral time.
