Son of William J. and Charlotte (Anthony) McCarthy of Readville. Brother of Kathleen Caruso and her husband Ernest of Westwood, Colleen McCarthy of Mansfield, Kevin McCarthy and his wife Noreen of Hingham and Timothy McCarthy and his wife Maureen of Readville.
