Annemarie P. Cresswell, 63, of D'Iberville, MS, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in the Ocean Springs Hospital, Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Cresswell was born in Waltham, MA on August 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Leodore and Yvonne (Leger) Pomerleau. She was a resident of D'Iberville for the past two years, formerly living in Derry, NH for ten years. She was employed as a program support assistant for the VA Medical Center in Bedford, MA for 18 years. Mrs. Cresswell was an avid bingo enthusiast, and even worked at Taylors Bingo Hall in Windham, NH where she had many friends. She was an avid Red Sox fan, collected their memorabilia and also enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Victor Cresswell of D’Iberville, a daughter, Robin McInnis and son in law, William McInnis of Derry, a granddaughter, Ashley McInnis of Derry, a brother, Ronald Pomerleau and his wife Rena of Bartlett, NH, two nieces, Ronisue Bower and Marie Pomerleau and three nephews, Gerald Pomerleau, Jr., Michael Pomerleau and John Pomerleau. She was predeceased a brother, Gerald Pomerleau, Sr., and by her nephew, Scott Pomerleau.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 9-11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the VA Medical Center, Attn: Voluntary Services Department, 718 Smyth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104.
