In Attleboro, January 2, 2008 Lillian Slusack died after a long illness in the Golden Living Center at the age of 87. Lillian was the wife of the late Matthew Slusack & daughter of the late Joseph C. & Alice (McCusker) Murray. Lillian lived in Taunton most of her life and was educated in Taunton schools. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School, Lillian worked at the former Paul Dever State School until retiring. Lillian volunteered at Morton Hospital for many years and loved brightening everyones day there, often referred to as “Silly Lilly”. Lillian leaves her siblings Alice Roaen of FL., Joseph Murray of Stoughton, James F. Murray of Plainville and the late John R. Murray. Her Granddaughter Amanda Emond and three Great Grandchilden. Lillian also leaves several neices & nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Sat., Jan. 5th Visiting hours from 7:30-8:30am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church at 9am.
