In Taunton, January 3, 2008 Virginia died after a lengthy illness at the age of 73. She was the wife of the late Donald Higginbotham and daughter of the late Clifford & Catherine (Greer) Smith. She lived in Taunton her entire life in Taunton. She was educated in schools in Taunton and was a graduate of St.Mary’s High School. Virginia enjoyed reading and loved being with her Grandchildren. She was employed as a receptionist at Pride Workshop in Taunton. Virginia is survived by her four children ; Linda Miller, Bill Higginbotham, David Higginbotham and Timothy Higginbotham all of Taunton. Her brother Ernest Smith of FL. and the late William Smith. Virginia leaves many Grandchildren, step Grandchildren and two great Grandchilden. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Mon. at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sun. from 2-4pm. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
