Judy Carolyn Steel, 57 of Clarksville, Tennessee died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Blanchfield Army Hospital in Campbell, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, January 7 in New Bethel Cemetery, Ben Hill County. Visitation will be held 7-9 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Steel was born April 15, 1950 in Douglas, Georgia to Johnnie Holt and the late Doris Virginia Young Holt. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Steel is survived by her husband, George Steel of Clarksville, TN; father and stepmother, Johnnie & Hilda Holt of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Dale and Ken Holt of Jacksonville, FL; nieces, Christy, Michelle and Emily Holt, Harmoney and Jessica Steel. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher James Phillips.
