Linda Kathlene Lewis, 58, of 45 Boulder Drive, New London, passed away December 26th after a long illness.
She was born on June 22, 1949 in Norwich, the daughter of Herbert and Martha Babcock Lewis.
Ms. Lewis was an employee at Chesebrough Ponds Inc. for more than 17 years. She loved her family and friends and truly touched everyone she came across.
She is survived by one son, Michael J. B. Lewis of New London; 2 grandchildren J. B. Marquise Parker and Mykela Parker, both of New London; two sisters Judith Greene of New London and Edna Allen of Ledyard; and one brother Elvin Lewis of Voluntown, and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brother Herbert Lewis III, uncle Earl Babcock and five sisters, Louise Coates, Susan Lewis, Elizabeth Gertrude Martell, Daisy Hawkey, and Helen Lewis.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Thursday, January 10th at 11am. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
